This is something that many bloggers and marketers that depend on the SERPs have known and practice.

One of the most successful network marketing bloggers is Ray Higdon. If you look at his blog, rayhigdon.com, you will notice that he posts almost every single day and while many people think that his traffic results are the result of a series of “secret” tips and techniques, for the most part he is just a consistent poster of good content.

So what makes this so-called “good” content?

Good content is any content that people can actually use, content that people in your niche will find value in.

I have created a steady flow of traffic to this blog even though it has been quite some time since I have written a new post. Now since I just stressed how important it is to be consistent you may be wondering why it’s been so long since I have posted anything.

After the penguin update, yes I was affected, I decided to let this blog “relax” a little and I started working on another blog – markgrahammarketing.com. Rather than continue discussing the ups and downs of posting on this blog or another and why I haven’t been posting as regular as I preach you should, I have decided to make a list of ways of creating a steady flow of traffic to your blog.

Real quickly I’ll go through the list and explain them one by one.

Create Great Content

First of all, what is “great” content and who decides what great content really is?

Those that decide what great content is, ultimately, are you readers. The audience you are trying to affect in the first place. Certainly they should be located within your niche and you should do what you can to engage these readers and others out there looking for this information. These are the folks that will be returning to your site looking for more information – any information – that you can provide that will help them with a particular issue whether it be a marketing tip or a proverbial steer in the right direction.

Great content is nothing more than content that offers value to the lives of those that read it, watch it or listen to it. I can talk about the ins and outs of creating this content, but the main thing to remember here is supply the demand that people have and much of the time that is information about how to do a thing or how to do a thing better.

Creating a Steady Flow of Traffic with Good SEO

SEO, or search engine optimization, is important. SEO might not be the MOST important aspect of creating a steady flow of traffic to your site, but it’s pretty damn important.

Whether you like it or not, search engines work a certain way and you may as well learn how to write in a manner that will benefit you through higher rankings in the search engines.

I’m not going to go into the specifics of good seo, my advice is that you download a plugin to your WordPress blog called “wordpress seo by Yoast.”

Creating a Steady Flow of Traffic with Facebook, Twitter and Other Social Media Sites

Social media is big and there are many reasons for this – of course, I’m not going into that, but I am going to discuss why social media is becoming more and more important to you as a marketer and someone that is interested in creating a steady flow of traffic to your blog.

Let’s just start with the search engines results page or SERPs.

Now, more than ever, Google gives a lot more credence to sites with a lot of social activity or buzz about them. That is to say that your articles will carry a lot more weight when they are shared on facebook and google+ as well as tweeted about. This is part of the result of the Google Penguin update and to be honest, I like it.

It is very easy for you to get out there and post to social media sites and to stimulate some of that sharing. I recommend you check into linksalpha, hootsuite and some other social media management tools.

Articles and Blog Traffic

Write articles and post them to credible, authoritative article directories. While I can go into the importance of uploading articles to ezinearticles and other similar sites just understand that these sites are good for backlinks and generating a bit of traffic to your site.

You can start creating a steady flow of traffic, on auto-pilot, by producing videos and if you are not already involved in creating videos start doing so immediately. Videos are popular and are pretty simple to create. I have programs out there that rely heavily on my video traffic

YouTube is not the only video hosting site out there either. Make sure that you post your videos to Vimeo, Dailymotion and MetaCafe. There are other directories out there, but you can search for those yourself.

Make sure that you take the time to learn good SEO techniques for video as well.

Like your blog, the key to your success with videos is going to hinge on how consistent you are in creating and uploading your videos to your preferred hosting site. I recommend that you put up a new video at least twice a week.

Based on the original Google Sniper program, there have been some tweeking to the system, but nothing way out there. Before I give you my answer understand that I believe in paying for an education. With this product you will receive at least a basic education in online marketing techniques and to me, that would make the $47 dollar purchase a good one.

You are going to realize early on that making money online is not a “push button” process. Auto-pilot sounds so cool, but it’s not really an accurate statement. To put things on autopilot requires that you do a LOT of work. Generally you will do a lot of writing and then do a lot of writing! Have to generate those links somehow if you are not paying for them.

Second, you are always going to have to do something to generate traffic. Just the way that it is. You can either do this through article marketing (didn’t I say a lot of writing already?), video marketing, blogging, commenting, and posting techniques.

Once your sniper sites are up and running, links have been built to them and they are receiving a  bit of traffic, then it would be safe to assume that you WILL make a sale of your affiliate products on “autopilot.”

This Google Sniper 2 review will probably generate a couple of sales for me because it actually does work and I like to write, of course.

While nothing is “easy” here, the basic principles of internet marketing and affiliate marketing are listed by the author with this product. Is it overpriced? Not if you get something out of it and that “something” enables you to start making money as well. I doubt that you will start to generate tens of thousands of dollars in a few weeks, but if you do I’ll pay you to find out how you did it.

Remember, there is a 60 day money back guarantee, so what do you really have to lose? The information IS accurate, but it’s no secret. What you are really paying for here is Mr. Browns ability to package things for you as you could probably find most of this information online for free. The cost is $47, so it’s not that big of a deal.

In my opinion, it’s another place to find some decent information for a low price. Are there other products out there that are equal or even better? Absolutely, but you have to realize that you are going to have to start somewhere and this program actually will lay out some basic ideas that you can incorporate into other programs and techniques you develop for yourself.

This Google Sniper 2 review is from my perspective and that’s really all I can give you anyway, but I do think that you can find value here and on that basis I would probably give this program a shot.

What’s Missing From ZNZ

The simple referally programs frim zip nada zilch, znz one and big cash are still very profitable programs for me, but for many there is an issue of the ability to generate income. As always, the problems usually begin with a person’s inability to effectively market online OR offline.

The question is, when it comes to making money online and finding online success, do programs or business models matter? For me the answer has been both Yes and No.

Yes, because the business model that you are involved with can determine the type of success you have as well as how much work you have to put into it and how difficult a sell it is to the customer. I mean, if you do not have a product or service or opportunity that someone else is willing to pay for or get involved with then you may just be out of luck.

So you do need a proven program, no doubt about it, but I also say that programs don’t matter because if you cannot market your product or service, no matter how good it is, you may as well accept the fact that you won’t make a dime. You have to get the training and education required to learn how to generate leads, convert those leads and earn an income.

Generally speaking, there are 5 key components that you need to look at when building a business online.

2. Training
3. Marketing system
4. Mentor/coach
5. Commitment

The first key component is getting involved with a program that is conducive to the internet marketing world. There are many different income generating programs out there. I personally am involved with a couple and they ALL generate income, but some are just better than others due to my personal requirements (I like residual income) and the amount of work I must exert to build these businesses.

The second component is training. You must get the proper training to get your project off of the ground.
