Step 1 – To learn how to make easy money online, the first thing you need to do with any program – other than join it – is to search out and find who is your market audience. You can do this through different methods, but my favorite is by doing a little quick keyword and key phrase research.

Online people will go to Google or some other search engine and type out EXACTLY what it is that they want to learn more about including online money making opportunities. If you can learn how to find these phrases and how to divert some of those people looking for a certain term then the next step is designing a system or content to place in front of that crowd.

For example. If someone wanted to learn how to make easy money online they could go to Google and type in the phrase “how to make easy money online.” They can then look at the results and read the information provided on some of the sites. So your job initially is to find these groups of people that are looking for specific information to help solve a problem.

Step 2 – The second part of learning how to make easy money online is to find an opportunity, program or create content that these folks are looking for and put this information in front of them as they continue down their path of looking for information.

You can do this by posting links to your programs or writing articles about this information and inserting links to your information or programs. I do a lot of blogging and have many different blogs that I write on. I also write articles that I syndicate and this sends targeted traffic (targeted meaning that these are folks looking for these specific terms related to my niche) to my sites.

Once on the sites, visitors can browse through the information, click on banner ads, read my blog posts and submit to different offers such as some type of training or newsletter. Once this is done, this person moves from visitor to prospect.

Step 3 – Understanding how to make easy money online would not be complete without learning about the role and importance of the auto-responder. In step three we are talking about making contact. You can do this either by phone, email or both.

Many times I will send a video and other times I will call. Because I get a lot of calls during the day and I am pretty busy with the blogs I will let my auto-responder do the selling, so it is extremely important that I set up these emails just so…

This 3rd step really is about selling the program or opportunity. The key to high conversion rates, in my opinion, is making sure that the group that ultimately opts into your program is looking for a program like you have to join. Eventually you will probably have to speak to a real person, but I would at least wait until this point and time. After all, these folks have gone through the sales funnel process and you should be speaking with folks that are more than interested in what you have. Makes “selling” a whole lot easier!

A Dream to Work Online At Home

The dream for me was always to be able to work online at home, or anywhere that I wanted to call home for the day. I could picture it and had pictured it in my mind for quite some time and knew that this was what I wanted. Period.

Perhaps some folks that are looking for a business model to get involved with are out of work now, like so many good folks out there and they are desperate to find a way to replace their incomes because as we all know, the bills don’t stop and most of us still like to eat and stuff. Learning ways that will allow these individuals to work online at home is more than just wanting to live a specific lifestyle, it may just be a matter of providing for a family.

So, this is the motivation for my post today on how to work online at home. One of the reasons I’m such a fan of this idea in the first place is because I’ve always been a bit of a rebel and just don’t have the stomach for others to tell me how I should be living my life. Sorry mom! I am in love with the idea, always have been, of being a globe trotting entrepreneur! The internet, without a doubt, is one of the most effective ways of being able to develop and live that nomadic lifestyle, so it’s not just about how to work online at home, it could be work online anywhere – provided there is an internet connection and a laptop to use!

Now, how do you go about being able to work online at home anyway? There are so many programs out here it isn’t even funny and of course, I have my own favorites right now. With that said, I have to admit that some business models are much better than others.

For me, when it comes to awesome business models to get involved with I always want to jump towards the network marketing model and for many reasons. First, you have to understand how money flows in an economy. For many with an employee mentality this can be a strange new journey to a reality that has eluded you. Of course, if you have recently been laid off then you also understand how fast reality can rise up and smack you!

In most economies out there, money is generated through the sale of a product or service. When you make money online at home, these rules apply like they would offline under any other circumstances…heck the drug business is even a business that operates under the same economic rules as anything else.

Trading Hours For Dollars (There is only one You!)

Service industries are huge, but often times are difficult to create real passive income with because they generally require an exchange of labor (either mental labor or physical labor) for a set income. The plumber comes to your home and you feel is taking you for your life savings, but his or her income is limited by their ability to only work so many hours.

If you want to find a way to make money online at home with the service model there are some things that you could do. Some folks are able to earn an income by developing websites, graphics or perhaps an article or two. If you have the ability to write, then you too can probably find some quick freelance type of work.

As stated above working in any type of service industry can generate some income, but because you are somewhat limited in your ability to work (you do have to sleep from time to time and there are only 24 hours in a day), I don’t really like this method although you can work online at home with many different freelance types of careers, so you could say that this method meets the qualifications of a work online at home type of business opportunity, but just barely.

Work Online At Home Developing and Selling a Product

Now, let’s look at creating a product. If you were able to create a product and market this product successfully utilizing the web, this would certainly qualify as a work online at home type of model. If you create digital products like e-courses for a specific niche or hobby this is even better because you have little in terms of financial capital invested or inventory that must be warehoused.

If you are looking to make money online at home by developing different products you could find a lot of success, but you do need to learn how to develop your product and market your product(s). If you are good at creating content and different products, test these products to ensure that there are markets for them and then are able to test all of this stuff out there then you could make a good living.

Another benefit of utilizing this method to make online income at home is that you can automate much of the process leaving you available to enjoy the rewards of a successful product campaign.

The Dreaded Competition

The downfall of developing a product and getting it out on the internet is that people, also known as your competitors, will develop similar and often times better products and sell them at a cheaper price. Oops, there goes your profits!

Work Online At Home With A Smile

In my opinion there is one excellent way and one particularly awesome business model that will allow me to meet my goal of being able to work online at home, sell a product or service to others, create a team that will help me continue to grow my business and income and do it with a smile on their face! Network Marketing.

Network marketing or MLM is one of my all time favorite business models and one of the best ways to work online at home today.

Now, I know that there are problems with this type of business model, but try to analyze this model with a business perspective. First, most of the programs have a fairly inexpensive entry level and even at this entry level you have access to products, training and marketing information – worth the cost of entry almost every time!

Second, when you build your business by developing others, you are creating a team that you don’t mind competing against you. Why? Because if you show Bob or Mary how to rank well on the search engines for their products and they do well, then you are also rewarded.

Third, if you are going to have to learn how to drive traffic whether it is with a network marketing opportunity or an affiliate product of some sort. Why not build up traffic with folks that you can teach to develop their own traffic and once again be rewarded for doing so in the sense that you are building your own work online at home business? Like I said, you have to do it anyway and I would rather have these folks on my team rather than compete directly with them down the road.

In the end there are many different ways to develop a business that will allow you to work online at home. The secret is finding one of these programs that works for you. While I have generated an income from many different business models, for me, the network marketing programs are the best and this is why I put them at the number one spot in my businesses that allow me to work online at home or abroad!

Setting up a blog today is a very simple thing to do and one of the key platforms I use for passive income generation. By writing about topics and subjects that I am already interested and passionate about, I can drive traffic to my site that consists of like-minded individuals and this “automatic” traffic is the foundation for passive income generation. This allows me to monetize my blogs in different ways, all which create a passive lifestyle.

Passive Income Generation and the Empower Network – It Really Works!

While I often will create a unique domain name and set up a WordPress blog on my own, generating traffic by ranking well on search engines can take a bit of time. A shortcut to passive income generation when utilizing the blogging platform is by getting involved with a system like the Empower Network.

There are a few reasons to join the Empower Network that make sense. First of all the blogging network of EN allows marketers access to a huge opportunity to leverage the content of their fellow marketers. Mainly you will benefit from content on the network by being able to achieve higher page ranking in the search engines. With a new blog this could take quite some time, but with EN you could be achieving the higher rankings within days.

The more traffic that you generate to your blog, the more opportunities you have to be able to create varied income streams, so traffic generation is key to your overall success.

Affiliate Marketing and Passive Income Generation

Posting affiliate links in different locations on the Internet can be a phenomenal way of developing passive income. While this isn’t necessarily “passive” in the literal sense, if you post links and create articles with links to different affiliate programs, you can get a similar passive income generation feel to your efforts. Once you have a certain amount of traffic coming to a sales page for your products then it is more of a matter of maintaining the site and the traffic.

MLM and Network Marketing Passive Income Generation

This may be one of the better methods of developing a passive income, but I you have to be careful here as network marketing, while being a business model that I absolutely love, is not without its problems. For example, by their very nature, network marketing programs require some type of constant purchase of products whether it come through an auto-ship or through the sales of product to different customers outside your home.

The problem generally lies in the fact that most people cannot afford an auto-ship over an extended period of time and many folks don’t take the time, don’t feel comfortable doing or are too consumed with their current work lifestyle to go out and sell products. So what is the solution?

In my most humble of opinions, the simplest method would be to learn to generate a small amount of income with a more simpler program and use the profits from this type of program contribute to the marketing and advertising budget of a larger, more complicated program. You can use affiliate programs for this purpose or you can use other methods like referral marketing to do this as well.

Ultimately, network marketing is more of a long-term type of business model and success within this field require more experience in business and marketing, all that can be gathered by promoting more basic business models first before moving into this field of passive income generation.

Referral Marketing: My New Favorite Passive Income Generation

It’s no secret that I like simple money making programs and there are very few that are simpler than the programs from Zip Nada Zilch, the ZNZ One and ZNZ Big Cash programs.

As referral programs, these systems require you to participate in them before you actually are in a position to refer others to them, but that is actually a good thing. With the ZNZ programs mentioned above, you are required to participate in trial offers with different businesses. You can cancel your account before you are ever charged a membership fee or you may choose to keep the product or service. Once you sign up with your trial membership however, you are then eligible to refer others to the site presenting you with the opportunity of passive income generation.

Like affiliate marketing, this type of program is all about generating traffic to your site. I recommend using a blogging platform to locate and attract targeted visitors to your site, but once done through article marketing, video marketing and more, you will be able to enjoy the benefits of a residual income. One of the keys with these programs is making sure that you have a marketing system in place like the Online Payday System.

In the end, learning to utilize the leverage of the internet along with using marketing systems and a good income earning program is what will see you to your goals. The opportunity for passive income generation has never been so available for so many as it is today.

Information Overload! 16 Steps to Page One!

I speak with a lot of people every week that are interested in making money online and internet marketing as a career. They all tell me that they don’t really know where to start. They talk about how much information there is to learn and how overwhelming it all seems…information overload, very typical and while there is a lot to learn, you also have to learn when to apply it.

Here Is Your Online Guarantee

Another lesson that you will want to learn, and this is one of those guarantee moments as in I guarantee that this will happen to you. Ready? Here it comes…You are going to make mistakes! What??? Yep, that’s right, you are going to make a mistake. You are going to write a post that veers off of topic from time to time. You are going to forget all of the little SEO elements for your article. It may not hit page 1…OMG!

Remember one thing. This was passed on to me from a friend a long time ago. We both worked for a plumbing company and some guy was telling my friend he had never broken a toilet on installation. My friend, a real wise guy, looked at him and replied, “Then you haven’t installed enough of them.”

The lesson was simple. Those that don’t make mistakes aren’t doing much if anything at all. Don’t be scared. Get out there and make mistakes and then learn from them. You’ve heard the term “fail your way to success,” haven’t you? Of course you have. The Japanese proverb goes like this:

One of the problems I see in this business, and others, is folks that are learning and starting to get a grasp of what is happening begin to focus on the little things so much that they forget to market. I mean you have someone that is worried about how well placed their key phrase is within their blog post. Then, of course, they need to find the right image or two for the article and craft the right header tags and title…got to make sure that the SEO is just so!

Am I Doing This Thing Right?

Then there is the whole matter of back links, how many do we need? Oh shoot, I forgot to bookmark this article, better get back there and do that…what was that site again? Ping.fm? Yeah, that’s the one. Is it done?

What about facebook, did I put anything on facebook? Did I make a post? Oh crap, what else did I forget? Am I ever going to get this thing down? Why does it keep changing?!

Does that sound familiar at all? Listen, I know there are a lot of steps when it comes to working up a key phrase and trying to get it on the first page of Google, nothing wrong with that, but remember that while there is a science to getting on the first page of Google and the other search engines with our content, there is also an art to online marketing. Sometimes less is more.

Facebook Fun?

I remember when I first started toying with facebook. As with anything new, I started reading everything I could trying to find the “secrets” of the social media gurus. I did everything for a while. I went out and made tons of “friend” requests, joined various groups and essentially wasted a LOT of time on the site checking out other profiles when I could have been applying that effort to something more rewarding in terms of traffic.

That said, I like facebook because it is a great place for me to market my blog posts and get some immediate traffic. I’m still building my traffic stats up, but it’s tripled in the last month or so (and not from facebook). Like everyone else, I’m learning. I’m learning not to waste my time on worrying about how many back links I’m getting and where from. I’m learning to write my articles well, to provide good, useful information to people that are interested in similar subjects. I’m learning to build a subscriber base.

I’m not suggesting that you don’t put together a good strategy of a few methods and techniques, but relax. If this stuff is work, then you are doing something wrong! Have fun.

For every five or six posts that I make, there is only one or two that I am writing in order to generate specific, targeted traffic. Why? Because it takes too damn long to get all of the necessaries out of the way so that the article or post will rank well on the search engines. Since I like to post everyday, or close to it, trying to hit #1 for everything is just a bit ridiculous. Sometimes I just want to write, sometimes I just have something to say – or carry on about.

My Crazy Linking Strategy, So Cool I Can’t Keep Up!

When I am ranking I do have a strategy, I do have a process and if you would like to copy it, then be my guest. It goes like this:

Bad-ass research – You just have to find the right key phrase. Good traffic, but not a lot of competition. A little is OK, but not a lot.
Write an interesting article – This isn’t that hard. Remember that you are unique, some people will relate to you, some won’t. Write for yourself. Just make sure it is useful material for the next guy. If you have a sense of humor, use it, but don’t make it a comedy piece unless you are a comedian and it is a comedy piece.
SEO – Make sure all of your on page SEO stuff is sorted out properly. h1,h2 and h3 tags with the key phrase, title with the key phrase, key phrase in the body 1.5% to 3% density, an image with the alt phrase set to your key phrase, an internal follow link and any external links made no follow links. Got that?
Pings! – Go to pingler.com and send out pings. You should also have an updated ping list set up in your WordPress site also. Yippee! Don’t spam with your pings. There is a good plugin that you may want to install titled cbnet ping optimizer. Sort of guards against you accidentally pinging over and over when you are updating a post.
Ping.fm – There it is, set up your social bookmarks and submit links to all of them. This takes care of facebook too (link your YouTube account with your facebook account and that will also give you a good post on facebook.)
Socialmonkee – If you don’t have a socialmonkee account, get one, it’s free to use and it works! Those are two wonderful criteria for joining any bookmarking site!
Second article – Now write a second article on the same key phrase and submit this one to ezinearticles.com – they are still the King when it comes to ezine sites.
Third article – Told ya this was work! Write a third article and spin it with the best spinner software. Get a 75% or better spin on your article and then generate 500 or so articles.
Submit Articles – First post articles on five to ten article directories pointing links back to your original post. Copy these URL addresses – you’ll need them later.
Post on Unique Article Wizard – Take 3 of your spun articles and post them on unique article wizard. Point the links in the author’s resource box to your blog post and domain.
Submit more articles! – Submit to ten more articles with links pointing back to the second tier articles (the original articles you submitted to).
Unique Article Wizard…again! – Post another three articles on UAW. Link back to the original articles.
Hubpages and Squidoo – use both hubpages.com and squidoo.com and point the links back to your domain and post.
Video – Make a video around the same key phrase. Post the video on YouTube with links back to your blog post. Go to ping.fm again and post to your social sites with this video.
Unique Article Wizard Act III – Submit yet another three articles to UAW and link back to your hubpages and Youtube video.
PDF – Make a pdf file of your blog article and submit it to:
1. Scribd.com
2. SlideShare.com
Take a break, you deserve it!

Now that you have “the list,” get off of your butt and make something happen. Experiment, find out what works for you. Don’t stop until you start seeing the results you want to see. Whether you are just putting a bunch of information out there to get off of your chest or you are trying to make money online (I do it with simple money making programs and more) at least now you have an idea of how to get the natural, organic traffic from the search engines.

If you are like me, you are going to want to get this thing going to the point where it is getting bigger on its own and you are sipping Mai Tai’s and curling your toes in the sand, but for God’s sake, no matter what, make sure you have a good time – this is suppose to be fun!
