Does Network Marketing Really Work or Is It Just a Huge Scam?

Of Course Network Marketing Works

Does network marketing really work or is it a scam? Well, let me first say that I’m no where near being objective about this. I’ve made money with my network marketing opportunity and I’ve seen a lot of other folks make money as well, so I could end this post up with a hearty YES IT WORKS!

However, doing something like that would make for bad blogging and while my blogging efforts aren’t always the best, I do OK and would like to continue down this internet path utilizing my whole blog platform.

Now, let’s get down to business. Why do you think network marketing doesn’t work for so many people? I mean this thing is suppose to have a 95% failure rate, right? Why do so many fail?

does network marketing really work

To Succeed in MLM You Must Get the Training

First, most people are NEVER properly trained. If you want to market your program online then you’d better get some information on how to effectively market on the Internet. So training, or a lack of training rather, is the first problem.

Learn to Generate Free Leads

Lead generation is the second problem with a network marketing program. Let’s face it, if you cannot generate leads and convert those leads into paying customers or team members then you are dead in the water. You HAVE to have leads for your program and you need to have highly targeted leads for your program.

The good news is this, if you learn how to do it, attracting people that are interested in what you have to offer is not that difficult a process to learn or even teach to other people. The key is to use systems to do the selling and closing for you.

The Problem With an Auto-ship

A third “problem” is that of an auto-ship. Now we can talk about how companies are ripping off their distributors by promoting the auto-ship process, but here is the deal on that.

If you have a steady flow of leads and you are recruiting new members to your organization and they are on the auto-ship program too then your own auto-ship is not a problem because you are making money. If you are making money then you are not so concerned with your auto-ship and you are even probably more than happy to spend the money and get the product or service every month.

Most of these problems have to do with perspective. Let’s face it, if you are making money then all of the other so called “problems” go away. If you are not making money then these same “problems” are magnified and that’s ALL you can think about. Eventually, you will quit.

The secret to succeeding online with a network marketing program is to have a proven marketing system that will help you generate leads, get the accurate and real training you need and that you can actually build a business with. This system will also have to have the ability to work online while you are at work or asleep.

If you are truly serious about building a network marketing business and are looking for a system then click here to find out more.

You won’t even have to pull out your wallet because there is nothing to buy – just information that you can get immediate access to.

Will Smith on Work Ethic

“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work.” – Kevin Durant

I’m really irritated. A lot of folks out there really believe that success comes to those that are “lucky” or that are “gifted,” and while developed talent will help you go a long way, it is the work ethic that delivers success.

While success doesn’t care what color you are, what gender you are or what religious belief you have, success does discriminate, it discriminates against those that are not willing to put forth the effort, that are not willing to work towards their dreams and goals.

The following is not a new video and I usually don’t post videos on this site, but this one had to be put out there because it is so true.

The Mindset to Succeed

mindset to succeedA Mindset To Succeed: What it Takes

Do you have a mindset to succeed? It’s probably a question you really need to ask yourself before you commit to building a business, the problem for most folks is that they don’t know what type of mindset is required to build a business because most people have an employee mentality. I don’t want to sound like an ass here because my motivation really is to help those that want to succeed find that success, but I have to be honest as well.

So for everyone that is coming to the table here with the idea that people that own businesses are “lucky” or they make a “lot” of money or whatever is usually a perspective that isn’t right. I’ve had several businesses in my adult career and I can tell you that the one thing that was consistent with ALL of them had nothing to do with how much money I made, what was consistent was how much time and effort I had to put forth to get these businesses off of the ground.

Mindset to Succeed: The Harder You Work, The Luckier You Get

You see, what most people don’t see is all of the hard work and effort that goes into creating your business, they don’t see how many hours that you put in, how much money you invest and re-invest. If you do it right, or close to right, your employees, if you have any, will not have the tiniest clue that you had to struggle to ensure that they were paid for the week.

When you come online hoping to build a business via the Internet you need to know what is in store for you and while all paths are different, there are many variables that are similar.

A Mindset to Succeed Trumps Challenges Ahead

Building a business online may be a struggle. Even though you are bound to hear how easy everything is, understand that statements like that this aren’t accurate and are often times misleading. I’m not quite sure why, some would prefer the road of hype, but I would just rather tell people the truth and the truth is that building a business online or offline is not for the faint of heart. Developing your home business on the internet will often times be very trying and this is exactly why you must develop the proper mindset to succeed.

So what is the proper mindset? Well, the above paragraphs obviously are an effort to give you the proper perspective, but there is more to it than just perspective. Probably the most important elements are:

  • Desire
  • Action
  • Imagination
  • Faith
  • Perseverance

Desire: You must know what you want. This is more than a goal, this is a “why” that comes from deep inside, deep within your soul. Times will be tough and you will have to have a real reason as to why you are doing this that will give you strength during momentary times of challenge.

Action: Better put some action behind what it is you want or you will never have it. Develop a plan of consistent effort.

Imagination: As you learn different marketing techniques and further develop the skills of a seasoned internet marketing professional you will get to a point where you will need to think outside of the box. Be bold with your ideas and transform them into new techniques.

Faith: Real faith, not just something you read about in a book, is more than believing in something. Faith is all about taking those steps into the unknown based on your belief in yourself and your plan. You may have to dig deep on the path to success, but you can do it and if you choose success, you will do it.

Perseverance: Don’t ever, ever, ever, quit. I believe I have said a couple of times now that times may get tough and you can bet that they will, but you have the ability to overcome those tough times as well. So many times people will stop just short of reaching their goals, when taking a few more steps would give them the lifestyle that they longed for. No matter what don’t quit, you may have to adjust your plan, but don’t give up on your “why.”

The Mindset to Succeed Process

Developing the mindset to succeed is a process, a perspective. Figure out what it is that you want, if you are willing to go get it, develop a plan, put forth the effort and work until you get there. That’s the mindset to succeed that will take you where you want to go.

secret to 90 days

Become an Online Success in 90 Days!

What’s the Deal With 90 Days?

I don’t know what the deal is, but it seems like almost anything can be cured or fixed or built in 90 days. Take the P90X exercise program. The results that are touted are after working out with this particular system for 90 days and to be honest, for most people, 90 days is probably enough and more importantly it does work, you can see the results.

Write a New Post for 90 Days

So what about making money online? What 90 day program do we talk about here? I say it all of the time to my own prospects and students. My mantra is, start a blog and write every single day for 90 days. Promote your blog posts with articles, do this for 90 days and see what happens and just so you know, this isn’t a new or original idea on my part either.

I’ve been following David Wood, co-founder of the empower network, for a while now. I went through the boot camp that he developed when he was working his MLSP (My Lead System Pro) program and what I learned was how much you could change, how the foundation of your success could be determined in a 90 day period, but why is this so? Well, David doesn’t really say it, nor does anyone else, but I do have my own personal theory.

90% Don’t Make 90 Days

First, most people, and I mean around 90% to 95% of the folks out there that are interested in starting a business online, will not create a new blog post every day for 90 days, so for those of us that will do that it means that our competition is not as tough as what we may initially presume.

Now admittedly I can’t prove any of this and it is conjecture on my part, but when you start looking at different key phrases and keywords surrounding specific topics like network marketing or making money online, the few people that have a blog or a site with 90+ days  of work on them appear at the top of the search engine results page.

Another thing to consider is how often I am called by folks that have been utilizing a particular form of marketing for a couple weeks that call to tell me what they are doing isn’t really working. I know that you can have your ups and downs with this business, believe me, I had many, many downs before I started getting some “ups” to go along with them. The deal is don’t stop, don’t quit. It doesn’t matter how you are marketing your program just as long as you are marketing.

A Magic Formula?

I don’t know exactly what the magic formula is about the 90 day routine, but there definitely seems to be something to go with this. Perhaps it is about the time that the compounding effects of your consistent effort start to take over. I mean after 90 days you have quite a few articles out there with quite a few links to your site and if you have done your research right you should have 90 different key phrases that you are going to be ranking fairly well for.

My 90 Day Formula for Blogging Success

With all of that said, I must confess that I think that a person serious about making a go with their money making program needs to start a blog. I’ve even devised a little formula that anyone can use to see positive results in, you guessed it, 90 days. The formula goes like this:

Day 1 – Get your domain name and set up your blog

Day 2 – Do the keyword and key phrase research and find as many different phrases as you possibly can to write about. Look at other blogs within your topic and try to gain some ideas here as well.

Day 3 – 90 Write (this is where the problems usually arise)

If you do nothing else but write for those 90 days, write article after article after article, sooner or later you are going to get noticed by the search engines…usually around day 40 or 50 by the way.

secret of 90 days

Don’t Stop Till You Hit 90 and Then Don’t Quit

The key is to never stop. I don’t know why 90 days is a magical number, but it seems to be magical in the sense that you, or anyone, will see significant results within that time frame, but you must be consistent with your efforts whether it be marketing online or sculpting a winning body.

What is Your Definite Purpose?

Definite PurposeA Definite Purpose: The Foundation of Your Success

What is your Definite Purpose? Most people know that I am a big fan of the book Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill. This book is a road map for success and has been utilized by many successful people whether it was success in business, success with relationships or some other vital part of your life.

It All Starts with a Definite Purpose

One of the ideas, the founding idea, of the book has to do with having desire and a “Definiteness of Purpose,” knowing where it is that you want to go and knowing what you were put on this earth to do. Without this definiteness of purpose or definite purpose you are, more or less, floating around aimlessly. You may find success here and there, but for the most part you don’t have an overall goal to arrive at or to even head towards in the first place.

Find Your Definite Purpose

What is it that you want? If you don’t know where you are going, who will? You must first establish what it is you want out of life; write it down, don’t write goals out right now, write down what it is that you want. Is it money? A new home? Do you want to travel? It’s not my dream, it’s your dream, it’s what you desire.

Once you establish what you definite purpose is and you start the process of working towards your definite purpose you will be amazed by how fast the universe will make sure that you not only get on the right path to achieve your destiny, but to make sure it happens in a timely manner. Understand that most obstacles that you face in this life aren’t a result of someone else or circumstance or anything else of that nature. It isn’t the external forces that you must battle it is the internal battle that you must quieten, the battle within yourself, within your own mindset that you must control.

Realizing Your Definite Purpose

There is a way to achieve these goals that you want, there is a way to achieve all that you desire (once you figure that out, of course). Once again, Mr. Hill to the rescue! According to Napoleon Hill, and many, many others, you need to practice the fine art of “auto-suggestion.” What in the world is “auto-suggestion” you might ask? I’ll give you an example to follow.

Once you figured out what you want, what your definite purpose or desire is, write it down. Write it down the way you would a goal, maybe on an index card that you can carry with you. Put a date of “completion” on it. The read that card one hundred times in the morning and at night before you go to sleep. As you recite that passage in your mind picture it. What will it look like, what will your lifestyle be like? Your imagination is where all of the magic is going to happen.

Do What Others Won’t Do, Follow Your Definite Purpose

Think this is stupid? That’s fine, you go on about your life and just laugh at the rest of us, bdefinite purposeut remember that those that want something different or unique out of life are going to do different and unique things. We are going to follow the advice of those that have walked before us, those that have succeeded and follow their advice and example.

Have you figured it out yet? Have you figured out what your desire is? Life is a choice and even when you walk away from making the decision the irony is that you made it by default. Do not live a lifetime of defaults, make a commitment to your life, to your lifestyle and to your definite purpose.
