I know some of you have probably done this, but… just to make sure you didn’t think I was pulling your leg, I decided to show you and get you to understand how your own daily consistent efforts will pay off down the road.

When people first start out online they have all of these illusions of quick and easy money and I can tell you that the reality doesn’t come anywhere near that, BUT…

…If you provide consistent effort, such as consistent posting of your capture page links, you will see huge results in a few weeks. If you start posting today, don’t call me up in 3 or 4 days and tell me this doesn’t work. What you have to keep in mind is that I and every other successful marketer started at the same place as you.

When I first started marketing online I didn’t have a clue. To be honest, some days I still feel like I don’t know much, but I do know one thing: Consistent effort will bring results and MASSIVE CONSISTENT EFFORT WILL BRING FORTH MASSIVE RESULTS!

This stuff is not rocket science, it’s not hard nor is it easy. The best thing to say is that it is achievable by anyone that truly has a desire to find online success. Don’t stop and don’t ever, ever quit. There can be a struggle to deal with at times, but it is a struggle that you will be rewarded for.

You Reap What You Sow

reap what you sowI love it when someone finally makes money online and they do it again and again…they finally “get it.” These folks finally understand the value of posting those links over and over and over. They understand why they needed to write a new blog post EVERY single day. They understand why making videos and posting them two or three times a week, every week, is important. They understand.

I love to get emails from people that finally realize their goals. However, this post isn’t about success and it’s not about failure either. This article is about a very simple principle that is not only in the Bible, is also a simple common sense phrase that many people can comprehend very quickly.

The other day I received an email from a gentleman telling me that his marketing efforts were not paying off. He said he was posting on Craigslist every day and that nothing was happening. I immediately thought to myself that he would be the only one. I wondered what he was writing in terms of ad copy. While on one hand I felt bad for the guy, on the other I knew that he wasn’t really posting on a daily basis and if he was his ad copy would have had to been so bad that no one may have been able to help.

Ultimately I just realized that the guy probably wasn’t being all that honest about how hard he was working, the amount of effort he was putting out there. Why do I say that? Because the universal law governing all success is the same for simple referral marketing programs as it is for major success in other areas of your life as well: You reap what you sow.

I didn’t learn this from the Bible, or any other book, I actually learned this from observing a little skinny dude that was and still is marketing on the internet. I owe this guy a lot because he set the example for me and for many others by just being a diligent and consistent worker. His name, of course, is David Wood.

David just started his empower network not too long ago and while I am not a member (for specific reasons I don’t want to go into) I am impressed by this guy and what he has accomplished.

I know that the secret to his success was fairly simple – and not really a secret either. He simply created more content in a shorter period of time than just about everyone I have ever known. The guy is a machine! Yes, he’s a nice fellow and yes he’s somewhat charismatic in his own unique way, but the guy works his ass off and that is what made the difference!

Realize and understand that the success does not care if you are black or white or brown or read or yellow. Success isn’t more of a fan of men than women and doesn’t prefer blondes or red heads over brunettes. Success is equally willing to express itself with the young and the old. Success in this universe is simply a result of diligent and consistent effort towards a goal that can be accomplished.

So the next time you are sitting around feeling sorry for yourself wondering why your program is not working for you, don’t forget to look in the mirror and ask if you have done all you can do and done it consistently.
